Another Nice Movie
My bf and I watched Da Vince Code last night. It was great. I read from newpapers that critics said it was not up to expectation la, not as good as the book la...ocipala ocipala...but wat the heck?i don't CARE..cos i dun read the book..i watched the movie.And i tink its gd. That's why i dun read Harry Potter also, cos i find its weird after reading the book,some ppl still go and watch the movie. If u know the storyline, there's no more suspense watching the movie, u will always know wat will happen next. If i ever want to read the book, i will read it AFTER i watch the movie. :-p
Some ppl say they don't understand the movie. But for me and my bf, who are with only basic knowledge of christianity, can understand the whole movie and be fascinated by it.
OK, back to Da Vinci Code. It made me think a lot. Our world will certainly be a lot different if the church WERE to run by a female.hmm.May be instead of pope, we will have mome. It made me more than interested to have a good look at “The Last Supper” painting. I will search for the painting after work.HEHE.Then it made me wonder where did Jesus Christ laid to rest in peace?What's a gospel?Did Jesus really had a wife/ “companion”? If he really did, wats wrong with that?must he be a virgin to be divine? hmm..a lot of questions...
There's a lot of stuff i want to write here, but i am afraid that i will offend some party..so i better don't..:-p And i'm not so sure about the truth as well.*ponder*

Da Vincci Code is a GREAT movie!!!
Heeee...Ppl, when you watch movie, you must know that it is just a movie. Not documentary, ok? Do not waste the CREATIVITY of the author of the story and also the hard work of the film makers.
But for those who like to compare the movie with the original book, hmm I really have no idea what to say. One fact is when you read, you can imagine alot and form the concept (or what-so-ever) the way you think it is. When you watch movie, you will take what you see and you do not have much time to MAKE things up within the 2-3 hours. So...again, watching movie is for entertaining.

well..i think usually those movies based on books..they r not on par with the books cos books can write more detailed ma...of cos reading the book will always be better.
hmm..i think this movie is very catholic ho?the words like gospel,opus dei,etc etc are very catholic words.i don think you can find that in otehr churches..
its not that Jesus cannot be married.but the book claims that Jesus is not God at all! Of cos it will cause a big hulla-balloo in the catholic community.
but then again,Red Sponge is correct ma...this is just a movie...just enjoy it as a movie lo.i think the book was very well written.altho a bit monotonous cos its all about Robert Langdon being chased round and round Paris.. *yawn*

heheehe..oh btw..the painting of Last Supper really does hv a person who looks like a ger...

but we hv to remember that the famous painting was PAINTED ..it is not a photo.therefore, leonardo da vinci could have painted anything he wanted. Jesus lived few hundred years before him..how would he know who attended the Last Supper ler?
oh btw..Gospels are 4 books in the bible which are written after Jesus died. The rest before these 4 books were those that happened before Jesus was born.

well...there was a tomb...a cave tomb for him...
but then just in case you have forgotten, Jesus rose from the dead 3 days after he died..which is on Easter Sunday lo...
His tomb is still around...being visited by pilgrims...but no body de la... :P
HMM?not Easter Monday meh? sacrificed on good friday for human, alive again on Easter Monday..
