Besides durians, we got these selling at certain places as well. Its more rare. I didn't buy mine. My uncle's family gave it to me. They know how much i love these. Sweet and Sourish..so yummy. Last 2 years, I gave some to RedSponge and some to Fel fel....HAHAA..and Fel even ask for more after she finished the ones I gave her. This year, the tree bear fruits again. And again I gave some to Redsponge. But fel, fel is too far away..at Perth. So Fel, I help you eat over here. WAKAKKAKAKA...

Wukui and Me

I bought wukui sometime in August. And I went to pick her at 2.9.08. Which is Oink's birthday and Mango's birthday. Now I drive everyday to work. And its safe to say that Wukui and I have been through a lot together. AHAHAH

I wanted a car that is small, not $$, easy to maintain, saves on petrol. Perodua Viva was my choice. Its looks like a turtle hence the nickname. wukui=turtle in mandarin

We flew over bump together. The next day we are smarter, and crawled over the very same bump instead.AHAHA

We went through bad rainy days..

We went shopping together. Now I don't need to rely on *ahem* someone to bring me shopping anymore! Freedom is sweet! Car installments is not. 'x'

This morning I saw a road kill. I am not sure its a dog or cat. Cause the only thing that I can identify was what appears to me as a thigh ripped off from the body. And I noticed it when the car beside me drove over the thigh and it flung. @@

I tighten my grip on wukui's steering wheel. Trying to calm myself. And I did.

I'm glad I got wukui now. From time to time, I shall share more adventures of wukui & I.

Roses for My Birthday..and others

I always love pretty flowers. Oink's family celebrated my birthday earlier on Sat. And my mother in law gave me these really gorgeous roses.. she planted these roses herself , arranged it nicely and made this bouquet for me. I really love it, I like this shade of red. Its a very pleasant surprise.

















When I brought it home, Mango is very curious of the bouquet.

She keep sniffing the roses whenever she got the chance.

























Even when I put it on the TV cabinet, beyond her sniffing limit..she still looking at it, standing on her hind feet just to take one more look at it.

San gave me a book on Healthy Enzyme DIY.

Mil & Sil gave me perfume.

Jaqq gave me a bling-bling HP string and a bear bear tissue box cover in which the bear bear I think resembles her..ROFL

Then there's dinner treats...I am getting fat liao...Eva at first wanna belanja me dinner also, in which i suggest we go watch movies instead, can protect our waistline, in which she happily agrees.ROFL

And there's all these wonderful bday smses..some I am surprised that they still remember!

My Yesterday

was great until...it was time to go home..

I was quite happy..who won't be happy when its time to go home?

It was drizzling, I was walking towards my car. Then there this myvi, don't know why the rush..drove fast through a really shallow puddle, and THERE! I got SPLASHED. BAHHH!!!! Although its not very serious, but I was pissed. The myvi didn't even slow down after that. hmmphh..

Then at night, I went to Taichi class (I just joined early this month). There's this one pose for stretching, we are required to bend down and get up. When we got up, this uncle in front of me farted..=.= luckily not smelly.

I wanted to laugh. But i think it will be rude.

Young Talents

Yesterday, while at coltair's house, we watched America Got Talent. And there's this 11 year old girl, Bianca Ryan and she surprised me..

Got blown away yet? How could a 11 years old sing like that?I'm 2x now and can't even sing like that..all I can say is WOWWWWWW... coltair then told us she won the show and got 1 million. A millionaire through her own effort at 11! Double WOWWW.

Then before I went to bed, i got itchy hand and went on youtube to search for this 11 years old girl with great voice. And found some other clips. So I guess there's no harm for me to look at the other clips right.

Ming Corner Cafe

at Jalan Ban Hock. Its been a while since I've blog on FOOD.

Today we had late dinner. No idea where to eat. I asked Oink to drive on as I seek inspiration :-D on where to eat. Then we pass by Ban Hock Road. And I saw this place. This place that I have never been before.

We saw this set dinners. And decided to try.
























Oink ordered Set A with Lamb Shank. I order Set B with chicken chop.

Before the food came, Oink still joked, for 19.50, I wonder what size the lamb shank will be? Maybe its a small piece of pathetic looking mutton and he proceeded showing how big he imagined it will be with his hands.

The mutton was tender. And its doesn't taste too bad. In fact, its quite good. I like it. Oink couldn't stop grinning. I don't know what is it with man and food. I think he's happy that his lamb shank is not as small as he thought, and he's even happier that its rm19.50 only..much much happier that the set comes with red wine and soup.




















I can taste that its marinated with wine. Not bad but its a bit too salty for my liking. I prefer the lamb shank. :D

Total bill came up to RM33.40. Not bad eh?

OUCH!

I went to Krabi early September for 5 days. So chun, they are having some political issue over at Thailand. We were not sure we still can go not. I called the hotels, air asia, everyone. I checked online everyday. And seeing that the counter at KL is still open. We just went for it.

And I didn't regret going.

My poor poor shoulder was sunburnt. And this was on 2nd day! Its so painful, even applying lotion makes me feel like crying, and I can't lift up my hands for I think 4 days O.O

Cola is out!

And I saw him. Awww.. he's so cute and tiny! Cola has quite alot of hair, nose like the mama and the fingers are loooonngg. Oink say next time can hold on a basketball with the hand.

I told Oren I will buy balloons yesterday so that I can give to Redsponge when BB Cola is out..but I forgot! AHAHAH.. and so ngam and so chun that Cola is so punctual, really come out yesterday!

And today, I went to look for balloons here and there. But all shops not open on Sunday O.O, I even went to GH to look for balloons. But they don't have the type I want.

OK, that's all the update on Cola.

I go back to work liao..SIIIGGHHH

WORK WORK WORK!! NEVER ENDING WORK!

I'm bogged down with TONNES of work.

On top of that, recently, there's a series of unfortunate events that happened.

In fact, I'm soooo busy, I can't even bring Mango back to my house for the weekend. *sad*

There's no point bringing her home while I will be stuck here in the office, OT-ing *pulls hair* She'll have better company with my parents.

Physically tired, Emotionally drained, stressed... sigghhhhhhhhhh

I need a miracle to finish all this work in time!!!S-O-S

This photos was taken after her bath and before I towel dry her. She was trying to free herself while i got upstairs to get my camera.

And when she saw me with the camera, she froze. Aiseh! not bad , now pandai POSE liao.

Poor her, have to stay wet while I take photo of her. :-p

Kuching Day Parade

Wanted to post this last night. But then the internet is down. AGAIN. Not sure what's the problem though. So now here I am blogging from office during lunch break.

This year's parade is an interesting one. Its the first time I see a dogs' parade. And also first time go with Jaqq. Jee is parading.

Don't go away, I got photos of SYT (sweaty young thing- not sweet young thing) 'x'

When I got there, the dogs are just getting ready to move.

Look at these cute toy dogs! So lucky, don't need to march like the bigger dogs.



OMG! Got baby strollers some more, not for babies, but for these furry cuties! Its not easy to take these dogs' photos, I had to run to catch up with them! Run- find an opening- jump in to the opening, SNAP! On a hot night!

Feast you eyes on Tandoori Chicken!

Made this last sunday for dinner. But I don't have an oven at home, I went home to my parents and used their's instead! I WANT AN OVEN!



In case you are wondering, I didn't make this from scratch. I cheated and bought the instant Tandoori Mix. :-p This is the 2nd time I did this. Once before i got married. And now after married. And I have to say, I think its much better THIS time. I squeezed some limau kasturi juice on it.AND WALAAA! Its finger licking good. Oink started with Fork and Spoon also end up eating with fingers. The meat is so soft and juicy!




And this is the dishes for dinner. I only cooked the Tandoori Chicken and Lady's Finger. The rest (braised egg and tom yam soup) is curi from given by MIL.
